Another Perfect Day!!!

The snow kept falling... and falling... and falling last night... and continued until this afternoon. It was nearing blizzard conditions last night in the village. Caught the first lifts up again to be rewarded by.... pure exhilarating powder, knee deep between the trees, so much so that after one run I had so much fun that I was ready to go home. And rightly so - Riding powder is tiring!!!! Digging yourself out of a deep stash really gets the heart rate going.

I rode Yamabiko for a solid 2 hours until my knees were shaking, then filled up with some katsu curry for lunch, followed by some sweet cruising down Uenotaira, where there were still decent stashes between the trees. The sun was shining, the sky was a bright blue, and everything was painted white - it was a stunning day. A few runs on Paradise and I was ready to go home - the old legs are pretty sore after three days of riding.

A trip to the crepe shop, followed by a pickle photo taking session (see more later) and a Grapefruit chu hi while sitting at the kodatsu. It's pretty cold outside - I reckon it's about zero degrees - and I hope it snows more tonight, although I am not sure if my legs can take any more fun!!
